Happy Birthday Big Tex

Thanks to Dairy Max and Oak Farm Dairy my family was able to attend the State Fair of Texas. Sunday September 30 at 1pm we participated in the Giant Milk Toast to Big Tex for his 60th Birthday. Oak Farm Dairy passed out milk to everyone and we all celebrated for the big guy as he stood above.

After the big toast we headed over to the Dairy Discover Zone where the kids got to milk a life‐size replica cow. Its was so cool...



The mobile exhibit features a walk‐through
trailer that has a touch screen television featuring educational videos.

I have to say this was one of the most interesting and educational event that we have been to in a long time and it was so fun the kids had a blast. 

We leaned about the process of getting milk from the Dairy to your home. Why people are Lactose Intolerance. We also got some yummy recipes also.
