Dallas Museum of Art Free First Tuesday!

Its funny that I live here in Dallas and still have yet to visit the Museum of Art. My children have attend with there school for field trip but i have never gone.

If you are counting down the last few days of summer and want some thing to do then bring the kids out to the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA)today for Free First Tuesday!

The DMA is opening its doors to help educate and cultivate an interest in the arts among North Texas children.

Today is all about the art of the animal kingdom. Kids can use their artistic abilities to make awesome animal puppets. There’s also a chance to meet Arturo, the DMA’s mascot. You and the family can enjoy tours of the museum, story time, making animal hats, and so much more! There’s even a Yogiños session with yoga for youngsters.

Free First Tuesdays is today from 11AM to 4PM at the Dallas Museum of Art, located at 1717 North Harwood in the downtown Dallas Arts District. General admission today is FREE! DallasMuseumOfArt.org has more information on this fabulous event as well as where to park.

Which Museums have you visited in the DFW?
